I’m not here just for you,
I don’t exist for you -
you have to be enough
in yourself
by yourself

if you want to find me
you have to travel through this star chart,
find a road that speaks to you,
the one that only you can reach

and be fierce enough
to travel through it
by yourself -

right from the Andromeda
left from the moon’s beams

and I
will be watching,

I can promise you
I’ll let you wander around a while

and if you don’t fall prey to fatigue,
if you don’t despair,
if you don’t trust the shadows but
walk right through them

then I will meet you
halfway there
